The house
Restored with respect for what it has always been
Once a wing of the Maison Jeanne d’Arc, Cassiopée was renovated in 2025 using its original materials: terracotta tiles, beams, a two-sided roof frame and thick stone walls.
Downstairs, a living room with fireplace and an open-plan kitchen. Upstairs, two bedrooms, one looking straight onto the Loire, and a brand-new shower room.

Its story
Master shipowners, Royal Navy boatmen, a defrocked priest and his servant… The Maison Jeanne d’Arc has seen them all.
A 17th-century residence built when Saint-Thibault lived from river trade, the house has withstood floods and centuries. Its story deserves to be told.
